Thimble Summer

As I make my way through the Newbery books, this was a light, refreshing story of a mid-Western girl's summer on the farm and what happened to their family after she found a silver thimble.

Bought this one at Target a while back. Some of the stories made me want to give up meat. That being said, it was pretty much "in your face" about eating healthy foods, going vegan, etc. I did like some of their points and will incorporate them into my daily shopping.
